Tips, Lessons and Coaching for Competitive Senior Golfers |
Hello and welcome to the Champions Tour Golfer Guide. First of all, congratulations for giving yourself the opportunity to compete in this great game post-50.
During my years of traveling with the Champions Tour I was often asked somewhat skeptically by reporters if these experienced golfers really needed mental coaching after spending a lifetime playing and competing. My answer was always a resounding, "Yes!".
"Most Senior golfers", I often explained, "are as competitive and as passionate as ever and are looking for any little edge to help them get the most from their games, just like all golfers! And especially so as they find themselves losing distance or keen vision."
But this was only a partial answer. Senior level golf presents the usual challenges of competitive golf, plus some that inevitably come with getting older. In this section of Competitive-Golfer.com we will be building a resource of information to help you conquer these challenges and more.
You will find information on golf fitness and golf nutrition for the senior, as well golf tips and practical solutions for many of the extra mental challenges that "boomer" golfers face. Let's toughen up, reduce those mistakes, lower your scores, and max out your 50 + body and mind-- and play some of your best golf yet.
